Howlite is generally a white stone with veining, or ‘matrix’, in gray or brown. It is named after Henry How, a Canadian chemist, geologist and mineralogist, who discovered it in 1868 in Nova Scotia. Howlite is very porous and can be dyed just about any color, including the emerald green seen here.

  • Due to the inherent nature of gemstones, each stone is singular in both color and shading. We have selected stones that truly complement each other, and each pair of earrings is unique.
  • Earring Length: ~1.75″
  • The antique-silver metal rings have been treated with a protective coating to help prolong their shiny finish.
  • The stainless steel earwires are nickel-free and lead-free.
  • Additional pairs may be available. To inquire, please Contact Us for more information. Include the SKU and the number of pairs desired.
